When We Were Young ...

'Tis the season of graduation parties and senior pics. Share your old ones. Just do it.

It may be hard to believe, but if you were part of the Class of '94 at Park Senior High in Cottage Grove, that ridiculous vest I'm wearing in the picture on the left was cool.

The forest-green school colors I'm sporting and the casual laying-on-the-ground pose on the right—that was equally cool.

And if you look really closely—embarassment ensues—you'll see three earrings in my ears. Yep. My ears were pierced. Three times. That was super cool too.

My my my, how the times have changed. I didn't actually realize how much they'd changed until I dug out these pictures last night. But this post is not about me.

This post is about graduation and senior pictures and all the pomp and circumstance that goes along with them. It's about taking one big, collective stroll down memory lane.

Remember those split bangs and Coca-Cola shirt you wore during the 80s? They were way cool.

Remember the 90s and being decked out in Kris Kross gear, sporting a mustache and Air Jordans? Yeah, you were bombdigity.

How about those black and white photos of you wearing that 1950s suit jacket and ditty-bop shades? You know, back when you looked totally boss.

What I'm asking is for you to join me in creating an entertaining collection of senior pictures from years gone by.

Just do it. Don't think about it. Dig out the old pics and attach them to this post. It's easy, just click the button beneath my picture that says "Upload photos and videos."

It's Friday. It's the last day before a long weekend. We'll have fun. Just do it.
