Accomplishments: Ellie Ryan, a senior on Simley's softball team, hit her team-leading sixth homerun last weekend at a tournament in Becker, Minnesota.
Key to Awesomeness: Ellie has been smashing the ball this season. Her power helped the team earn second place at an Austin tournament in May and fifth place at the Becker tournament. The Pioneer Press named Ellie one of its athletes of the week because of her stellar prodoction.
