Bike Ride w/ Joe Atkins

A special invitation only on Patch...

Join me for an informal, 6-mile bike ride on the 4th of July. 

I'll be starting out at the Rock Island Swing Bridge, then riding along the bike trail to the Wakota Bridge and back.

This is just a planning ride for our Annual Bike the Bridges Ride that Mayor Tourville and I host during IGH Days.  I'm checking to see what shape the trail is in, and if there is anything new or different along the trail this year, like construction.  I thought it'd be fun to invite Patch-reading bicyclists to join me.

PS - As this is just an informal planning ride, please do not expect anything fancy, like water stops, police escorts, or a fix-it crew.  It's just me and my bike :)
