Gustavus Adolphus senior—and Inver Grove Heights native—Taylor Drentell shot a seven-over-par 79 to lead her team to a second-place finish at the Carleton College Invitational last Sunday and earn its seventh consecutive at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.

Capping off a tremendous individual season, Drentell won the Wartburg Spring Invitational on Apr. 21-22 and last Fall's Division III Classic at The Jewel Golf Club on Sept. 17.

"Taylor's been an outstanding leader for us over the past four years and she's certainly someone we're going to miss next year," Gusties head coach Scott Moe told Patch. "Both her efforts on the golf course and as a leader will be greatly missed."

Taylor's younger sister Jordan shot a 12-over 84 to finish 12th overall in Sunday's tournament, according to the Gustavus athletics department blog.
