Despite playing under the threat of thunderstorms on both Tuesday and Wednesday, Simley High School sports teams both managed to get in nearly the entirety of their mid-week schedules.

Baseball: Washburn 13, Simley 1

A 13-1 loss to visiting Minneapolis Washburn on Wednesday dropped the Simley baseball team to 2-13 overall this season.

Joshua Ketchmark drove in T.J. Stone with the Spartans' lone run of the game in the fifth inning; Simley had six hits total, with Brody Schintz claiming two of them.

Softball: Hill-Murray 11, Simley 3
