Spartans Jazz/Funk squad goes up against the best at Class AA meet on Friday afternoon.
The Simley dance team took to the floor of the Target Center in Minneapolis to compete against the best squads in Minnesota in the Class AA Jazz/Funk Division State Meet on Friday afternoon.
In front of a lower bowl packed with spectators from all three competing classes, the Spartans performed their routine "Wanna Dance" in its final performance of the season.
Simley did not qualify among the six teams to return for the championship round on Friday night; Sartell-St. Stephen led the finalists heading into the title stage.
