PHOTOS: Spartans Stomp St. Paul Academy and Summit School

It seemed like the Simley Spartans and St. Paul Academy and Summit School were more interested in putting one another through the boards than putting the puck in the net on Tuesday night.

The Spartans did a better job of the latter, defeating St. Paul Academy 4-0 in their game at Aldrich Arena in Maplewood.

The Spartans took an early, 2-0 lead over St. Paul Academy in the first period. The score held until the third period, when Simley scored with 11:13 remaining in the period. The Spartans added an empty net goal late in the game, making the final score 4 - 0.
