Simley Students Ask for Yes Vote on Tuesday

Did you know the track at Simley High School is so unsafe it has been banned from use by the Classic Suburban Conference? The track is so worn down that it has holes all the way through to the concrete, which can no longer be fixed with a simple patch job.

The beaten up old track is just one of the many safety and health concerns Simley students like myself experience every day. Entrances are not as secure as they should be. In early spring, just about every other classroom has water dripping from the ceiling. Exterior concrete and brick can be seen cracking all over the school. The school, which is over 50 years old, simply needs some overdue fixtures.

Being only high school juniors, we are not yet old enough to vote and don’t pay taxes, so we are asking those who do to please consider voting on November 5th. Help fix our schools
