A powerful blizzard dropped a foot of snow on Inver Grove Heights on Sunday and Monday, which means that Patch is looking for photos of you shoveling your driveway, unburying your car or just having fun in the freshly-fallen powder. The National Weather Service predicted the storm would deposit up to 18 inches of snow across the Twin Cities area through Monday morning. Although the snowstorm started later and wasn't as potent as forecasters predicted, the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport canceled more than 700 flights as of Sunday evening.
