Carly Krier, the daughter of Larry and Kirsten Krier, is a 7-year-old second grader at Kaposia Elementary Schoolin South St. Paul. When Carly was born, she was diagnosed with Schone's Syndrome, a rare congenital heart disease. Before the age of 2, she underwent two open heart surgeries to help fight the disease. On July 16 2012, Carly underwent her third open heart surgery. The good news is that the doctors have said Carly’s recent surgery was very successful.
