Hardee's Headed for Inver Grove?

The nationwide burger chain highlighted a site near Hwy 52 and I-494 as a great location for a new Hardee's restaurant.

When Hardee's announced plans earlier this month to build as many as 59 new locations around the Twin Cities in the next five years, there was still a lot of mystery over where those restaurants would be built. That question appears to have been answered, as City Pages secured a map of planned homes for the burger joints. Inver Grove Heights residents will be happy to know that one of the targeted spots for a new Hardee's is near the intersection of Hwy 52 and I-494. Jim Sullivan, head of franchise development with CKE Restaurants, told City Pages the tentative locations all have high traffic counts, populations in the 40,000 range, good site visibility and drive-thru access. LAST CHANCE! Target Job Fair Closes Saturday

Target is looking for around 200 part-time cashiers and stock workers.

Target is hosting a job fair at Veteran's Memorial Community Center this weekend to prepare for the July opening of the Inver Grove Hights store.  The company is hoping to find around 200 part-time cashiers and stock workers.  According to a Star Tribune article, seven Target team leaders will be on hand to review résumés and conduct interviews. Interested applicants can also apply online. Now that a Target is moving toward completion in Inver Grove Heights, you will go there to shop? The city’s 135,000-square-foot Target store, just north of the Highway 55-South Robert Trail, is expected to open in July. The Inver Grove Heights store—which will feature general merchandise, as well as a selection of groceries, produce, meat and prepackaged baked goods—will employ roughly 200 people. Among those people hoping for a success launch are Inver Grove Heights city officials, who are expecting the store to spur economic development in the Argenta Hills area, the mixed-use development which the big-box store anchors.
