UPDATE: IGH Man Charged with Three Felonies in New Year’s Day Shooting

Michael Jamah Griffis was charged with one count of first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault. He is accused of shooting his wife and brother.

The Pioneer Press is reporting that Michael Jamah Griffis—who was charged with three felony counts on Thursday—allegedly shot the pair during an argument. His brother reportedly was wounded in his arm and chest, and his wife reportedly was shot in her hand when trying to prevent the fight. Both were hospitalized. UPDATE: Bail Set at $250,000 for IGH Shooting Suspect

At least two people were shot: one in the hand and another in the upper arm.

Four felony charges are pending against Michael Jamar Griffis, 35, who was arrested shortly after the early-morning shooting in the 3000 block of Upper 76th Street East. Griffis continued to be held Thursday morning at the Dakota County Jail. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance at noon Thursday. The $250,000 bail amount is without conditions. He can be released on $100,000 bail if he agrees to have no contact with the victims and meets other requirements. Patch will have more …
