U.S. Representative Keith Ellison was one of several elected officials to speak during the state's official Veterans Day ceremony in Inver Grove Heights on Friday morning. The ceremony also included a community breakfast, and presentations from U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken, U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum, Gov. Mark Dayton and others.

This was a well written speech, but I am not certain how he could do the speech with a straight face. Most of the policies he backs are damaging to all these freedoms of which he was speaking. The Obama administration would like to shut down news outlets it does not agree with and would like to take control of the internet.. PHOTOS: Minnesota Recognizes Its Veterans at Ceremony in Inver Grove Heights

Veterans and community members gathered for a Veterans Day breakfast in Inver Grove Heights, which was followed by the state's official Veterans Day ceremony.

A handful of local and state officials addressed a packed house at the Minnesota National Guard armory in Inver Grove Heights this morning as part of the state's official Veterans Day ceremony. The event was preceded by a free community breakfast.
