Pet of the Week: Diesel is Darling Yellow Lab Puppy

He will need someone home much of the time to continue his training. He is crate trained and working on housetraining.

Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues. Diesel is a darling, 12-week-old, yellow lab mix. He will likely top out around 40-45 pounds full grown.  He has had his first puppy shots, been dewormed, frontlined, and has a HomeAgain microchip.  Diesel is being fostered in Lakeville for a Happy Hound Rescue and is doing very well in his foster home. He will need someone home much of the time to continue his training. He is crate trained and working on housetraining. 'Pet of the Week' Saved by Family 90 Minutes Before Euthanization

Pet of the Week: 'Foxy the Terrier' Adores People, Kids

Foxy adores all the people she meets and is very good with young kids.

Foxy is an adorable little terrier mix who weighs in at 33 pounds. She adores all the people she meets and is very good with young kids. She just wants to be next to her person and cuddle up to whomever will pet her. Foxy sleeps right through the night either in a crate or tucked in with one of the kids. Foxy is house trained and is crate trained. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and loves chasing squirrels and other creatures in the fenced yard. Happy Hound Rescue in Lakeville rescued Foxy, a terrier/lab mix who gave birth to nine cute puppies that are now up for adoption.

Foxy, a 35 pound terrier/lab mix, was rescued from the shelter while pregnant. She gave birth to 9 beautiful puppies who are all looking for homes. There are 5 girls and 4 boys available for adoption.  We think dad many have been a pomeranian mix because the pups are fuzzy with curly tails. The puppies have been handled by kids daily, and are used to other dogs and cats as well.
