Inver Grove Heights Woman Charged with Possessing Heroin

Kristen Elizabeth Dick has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, which is punishable by up to five years in jail and a fine of between $3,000 and $10,000. According to a Dakota County criminal complaint released last week: A South St. Paul Police sergeant observed a vehicle pulling out of an alley behind the 400 block of Fourth Street South in South St. Paul early on Aug. 8, 2012. South Dakota Predator Extradited After Failing to Register in South St. Paul

Leonard was officially charged with being a fugitive from justice, which is a felony.

A 28-year-old predatory offender was extradited back to South Dakota after South St. Paul police realized he had an active warrant out for his arrest.  According to a recent criminal complaint, Timothy Lafayette Leonard is a registered sex offender in South Dakota but failed to notify authorities when he moved to Dakota County.  After a further check of Leonard's criminal history, South St. Paul officers realized he had a probation violation warrant for aggregated grand theft and possession of stolen property. Leonard was officially charged with being a fugitive from justice, which is a felony.  On September 18, 2012, officers responded to the defendant’s residence and transported him to the Dakota County Jail. SSP Man Sentenced to 21 Months After Guilty Plea

Timothy John Stone, 47, punched, strangled and threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend, her children and his own children.

A 47-year-old South St. Paul man was sentenced Wednesday to 21 months in the Minnesota Correctional Facility at St. Cloud after pleading guilty to one count of felony domestic assault by strangulation. Dakota County District Court Judge Marth M. Simonett stayed the execution of the sentence for three years—essentially placing Timothy John Stone on probation until 2015.  Stone was arrested inside a tent in Wentworth Park on May 29 after police say he punched, strangled and threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend, her children and his own children. Stone was originally charged with domestic assault by strangulation, terroristic threats and two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault but Judge Simonett dismissed the lesser charges in exchange for…

Fourteen-time Convicted Felon Awaits Dakota County Hearings in Latest Burglary, Theft Cases

A review of David Allen Dahl's criminal history revealed at least 21 aliases and 14 felony convictions for crimes ranging from burglary and theft to possession of drugs and dangerous weapons.

A 51-year-old South St. Paul man is in Dakota County Jail awaiting a Jan. 17 omnibus hearing in connection with a string of felony charges dating back to March 2011. According to a criminal complaint filed in Dakota County Court on Dec. 19: Inver Grove Heights (IGH) police were dispatched to the assisted living community, Presbyterian Homes, on Oct. 7 on the report of a company van stolen from an underground parking lot.
