An article-gone-viral by The Journal News in White Plains, NY has sparked debate about whether gun permits should be public records.

Yeah -- that's what we need -- a public list showing gun ownership. Let's let every thief and criminal know where they can attempt to steal their next firearm. If parents want to know if there are firearms in a home, then be a parent and ASK the homeowner.
