Update: Storm Tracking South, Six Inches of Snow Still Possible

Mendota Heights and Inver Grove Heights are in the path of Winter Storm Q, expected to blow by from Thursday evening through Friday afternoon.

Updated 2:30 p.m. 2/20/2013: The National Weather Service Winter Storm Watch has been reduced to a Winter Weather Advisory, as the bulk of Thursday's storm is expected to pass to our south. However, as much as half a foot of snow could still fall in Mendota Heights, Inver Grrove Heights and the rest of Dakota County from Thursday evening through Friday morning.
