Isreal Bryant is charged with one count of felony theft by check. If found guilty of the charge, he could face up to five years in jail and a fine of between $3,000 and $10,000. According to the Dakota County criminal summons released this week: Bryant allegedly purchased books at the bookstore with checks of $1,283.05 and $65.95 on April 27.
