ReplyI can see points from both sides. But there is "NO LAW!!" that says he can not wear his dress boues under his cap & gown. I would think he would want to wear his cap & gown because it is a honor to graduate just as it is a honor to serve in our GREAT COUNTRY!! So wear them under your cap & gown for the ceremony then take them off. Just my thoughts. PS: Thank you for joining up to serve our GREAT COUNTRY & GOD BLESS YOU!!! Be safe.

ReplyI guess I look at it totally different! Leave them ALONE!! I LOVE watching the deer and if your going to feed the birds etc.. then you should be feeding the deer.Wht have they ever done to you? We have taken their homeland away to build houses, stores etc... Leave them ALONE & FEED THEM!!! They need to eat in the winter too just like you!!!

ReplyI want to say THANK YOU to the school district & my employer Safe Way for not only considering the SAFETY of the kids but the drivers. A 29,000 ton bus does not stop on a dime and especially when icy. Some people need to remember this we are doing a job just like you except ours is on the road driving your childeren SAFELY to school & home. So next time please think about this when you decide to pull out in front of a bus. Thank you to all the curtious drivers that are out there we really appreciate you more then you know.

ReplyI am a driver for Safe Way & we appreciate the SAFETY issues that are thought of when making this decsion. Not just the safety of the kids but the drivers. When it is really cold say -25 there is also the issue of the diesel freezing up and keeping the buses running & warm. I want to say thank you to all the curtious drivers out there you do not know how much that is appreciated also. Thank You!!! When it is black ice/icy we can't stop on a dime we can't stop on a dime when it's not icy so why do you pull out in front of us?? Really think about it!!!

ReplyThis is so sad & tragic. I am a school bus driver you would be amazed at the number of times we have to stop fast to avoid hitting someone who pulls out in front of you or switches lanes with NO blinker. Hello we are BIG YELLOW school buses just saying. My sister drives for district 196 so I was concerned forher when I heard of this accident she was not the driver of this bus. My nephew was one of the IGH firefirghters at the scene also. We will have to wait to find out what happened! Our prayers go out to all involved in this horrible accident.

Really Battah! This is a story that should be addressed properly! Why should we not make an exception for someone that has the guts to go fight for OUR FREEDOM!!! He totally deserves our respect. Again I say wear them under your cap & gown!!
