Prior to freelancing with Patch, I spent seven years working as an editor in Tokyo and Dubai. I have covered everything from sports in Japan to travel in Thailand to architecture and construction in Middle East and North Africa. After writing my way across Asia and the Middle East, I can honestly say that the old adage 'you can never go home again' is rubbish.
