Volunteers Needed to Pull off Neighbors' Annual Duck Race

Raise money for a good cause and help people in the Inver Grove-Mendota Heights-South St. Paul area in one "fowl" swoop.

The Great Neighbors’ Duck Race is an annual fundraiser event for Neighbors, Inc. to be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013.

Five thousand yellow rubber ducks are ready to be adopted and entered into the race. The first few rubber ducks to cross the finish line win a prize! All proceeds go to support Neighbors services and programs.

Responsible and detail oriented volunteers are needed to assist in coordinating logistics at the event. Additional volunteer groups and families are needed at the event to setup, pluck ducks from the finish line, track duck winners and numbers, and clean up. There are limited volunteer positions to fill, and they are first come, first served.
